I almost couldn’t come up with the password to post to the blog. It’s been that long.
You might be wondering why I haven’t posted to the blog in over a year. Truth be told, I became a bit burnt out when it came to working on the tonysplate.com website. I worked very very hard to make the site what it is. Then I stopped and assessed the level of effort required to get the site improved to what I knew it could be. Then I realized that I didn’t have enough energy to get it to that level. I knew I had other projects I would like to pursue.
Just to give you an idea of how hard I worked on Tony’s Plate, let me describe our family vacation in the Summer of 2010. My father-in-law treated us to a beachfront hotel in Boca Raton, Florida. But I was furiously working on getting Tony’s Plate ready to submit to the
Apps for Healthy Kids competition. While my wife and father-in-law took the kids out to the beach and
Lion Country Safari, I spent my time in the hotel room in front of my computer, the curtains drawn to keep out the glaring bright blue sky.
I’m not complaining. It was my choice to spend my vacation time that way. I’m just saying that, after devoting all of my free time to this side project (on top of my full time job), I just needed to move on to something else.

I actually spent most all of 2011 creating a game. It’s a remake of a game I released twenty years ago called
F.Godmom, The Fairy Godmother, and if you have an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, I highly recommend that you
give it a try. It’s a family-friendly game that combines equal portions of puzzle solving and arcade action.
If you are using Tony’s Plate, then that’s great. You can be assured that I’ll keep paying for the hosting to keep the site running. And I’ll try to drop by to leave a blog post a little more often.
